I'm taking my talents to someone who will appreciate them

In the office this week, a co-worker was talking about her planned trip to Miami.  Another colleague asked if she was staying downtown, to which she replied, "No, South Beach."

I couldn't resist the urge to chime in with, "You're taking your talents to South Beach?"

Nobody on my team watches basketball.  Nobody got the reference.  I swear I heard crickets after my joke.
